Considering that most of our members leave 100% of their life savings with us, we recognize that our responsibilities go far beyond helping them prepare for retirement. Through our Value-Added Benefits, the Sanlam Umbrella Fund aims to empower members to make informed financial decisions and enable them to live and retire with confidence.

Members must complete a Member Beneficiary Nomination form in respect of their group funeral insurance benefit otherwise the benefit will be paid into the member’s estate.

It is important to note that the policy contains all unapproved insured benefits available under the Fund, underwritten by our two Trustee-approved insurers, Sanlam Group Risk and ABSA Life, and may not be applicable to all Participating Employers. Participating Employers should refer to their Certificate of Participation to determine if their benefits are affected.
