It is important to note that the policy contains all unapproved insured benefits available under the Fund, underwritten by our two Trustee-approved insurers, Sanlam Group Risk and ABSA Life, and may not be applicable to all Participating Employers. Participating Employers should refer to their Certificate of Participation to determine if their benefits are affected.

The July 2022 version of The Fund In Detail has been released. Apart from text refinements, updates include: minimum requirements for insured benefits, investment menu updates and adjustments to operating expenses.

The Sanlam Umbrella Fund recently reviewed the default investment strategies and the trustees approved changes to the existing strategies, as well as additional alternative default strategies to cater for divergent client preferences.
