Sanlam applies a robust business continuity framework that takes into account a potential pandemic outbreak and leverages the scale, governance and expertise available across the breadth of the Sanlam group. Staff performing essential functions have been provided with an exemption to the lockdown to ensure that essential functions are prioritised.
We can confirm that essential services include specified administration services rendered to retirement funds and we shall therefore continue to deliver these services encompassing receipting, price releases, indexing, benefit and annuity payments and switches. The function of distributing benefit statements has not been classified as an essential service and therefore no benefit statements will be prepared or distributed during this period.
We endeavour to comply with existing service levels on a best effort basis and request your patience and understanding through the transition period.
In the interim, members are able to download their own benefit statements by logging on to https://cp.sanlam.co.za/ or they may download the “Sanlam My Retirement” mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Participating employers and intermediaries may print member benefit statements in bulk from the Sanlam Corporate portal.
