We are very proud to announce that David Gluckman, who headed our Umbrella Fund business from 2007 to 2011, was awarded the 2012 Sanlam Chief Executive Officer Award by Dr Johan van Zyl at a glittering function held at the Table Bay Hotel on 21 June 2012. This is the highest accolade awarded in our company.
To receive this most coveted employee award in the Group, candidates are evaluated against criteria such as their contributions to significant improvements in our core business processes, innovative solutions to complex problems, or the promotion of the company’s vision, values and strategy.
The award was in recognition of the outstanding work in building the Sanlam Umbrella Fund business over these five years such that we are now recognised as the Industry Leader.
