The 2017 Sanlam Umbrella Fund AGM sessions (now known as the “Symposium”), were held in Cape Town and Johannesburg recently and were well received by attendees.
2017 Trustee Report

Tax numbers required for Section 14 transfers
With effect 1 March 2017, all retirement funds will be required to apply for a tax directive in respect of members transferring to the fund by means of a Section 14.
Investment update
The Sanlam Allan Gray Domestic Balanced Portfolio was closed to new investors as far back as 2009, and consequently very few Sanlam Umbrella Fund clients are invested in this portfolio.
