As part of our ongoing commitment to empowering members of the Sanlam Umbrella Fund with knowledge about their retirement benefits, we’re excited to introduce our latest initiative: the Two-Pot System Educational Campaign.

We understand the importance of ensuring that our members understand their retirement benefits so they can live with confidence. To achieve this, we are launching an educational rewards campaign in July and August, aimed at ensuring that members access and engage with content created to explain how the two-pot system works.

How it works

Watch:

Members will receive communication – by email and/or SMS – inviting them to watch a short video that explains how the two-pot system works and what these changes mean for them.

Quiz:

After watching, members will answer a few easy questions to test their understanding.

Reward:

Upon successful completion, they’ll earn a free grocery voucher as a reward for their time and attention.

Why we are doing this

We believe in empowering our members with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their future. The two-pot system is an important change, and we want to ensure that all members understand how it impacts them.

We invite you to encourage members to participate in this initiative. By doing so, you’re not only supporting their financial education but also contributing to empowering our members to save and live with confidence.

Other member education initiatives

Our live Imali Zam webinar series continues on 1 August 2024, where our team will explain the two-pot system. This is another chance for members to learn about this new system. For the first time, we will have sessions in two additional languages – isiXhosa and Setswana – as part of our commitment to enhancing and expanding the reach of our member education initiatives. Please share the information with members and encourage them to reserve their seats.
