Sanlam Umbrella Fund’s first Imali Zam member session took place on 9 June 2021 and focused on the functionality of the Sanlam Member Portal and Sanlam My Retirement App. The Sanlam Member Portal is a powerful financial planning tool that can help members take charge of their retirement journey and build financial confidence.

The session was well attended, with over 1100 members logging in to watch the live session, and an additional 1000 members watching the recording of the session thereafter. We certainly hope that the information shared will allow our members to better navigate the Sanlam Member Portal and manage their retirement savings with confidence.

As outlined in the webinar, there is also a self-service WhatsApp channel available for members to check the status of a claim, look at their retirement fund values and even gain access to useful COVID-19 information. To make use of this service, members can simply send a WhatsApp to the following number – 0861 223 646.
