The Sponsor would like to welcome a new Sanlam-appointed trustee, Themba Gamedze, to the Board of Trustees for the Sanlam Umbrella Fund. With experience in excess of 25 years as an actuary, Themba joins Sanlam as Chief Executive of Strategic Projects. Previously, he worked at both HSBC and AMB Capital. Some of his other acclamations include founding the Association of South African Black Actuarial Professionals and he was the immediate past president of the Actuarial Society of South Africa. Sanlam Umbrella Fund members will surely benefit from his vast experience as an actuary and investment analyst. We look forward to working with Themba and learning from his expertise.
