We’re reaching out to share some exciting news about an upgrade to our member support tools. The My Retirement App is being retired to make way for something much better – the all-new Sanlam Portfolio App.
What’s New?
The new Sanlam Portfolio App is not restricted to members’ retirement fund information and benefits. This upgrade provides a seamless, user-friendly platform, allowing members to view their full portfolio of benefits across Sanlam, laid out in a user-friendly format. The login process remains unchanged, ensuring a seamless transition to the new platform. This means members currently registered on the Sanlam My Retirement App will not need to re-register to use the new Sanlam Portfolio App.
Why it’s important to switch now?
With the Two-pot Legislation coming into effect from 1 September 2024, members will need to use digital platforms to withdraw from their emergency savings pot should the need arise. Facilitating this transition is key to ensuring that members have access to the tools they need to manage their savings with confidence. The Sanlam My Retirement app will still be functional for the time being, however, no further updates will be made to the platform and members may experience poor functionality.
Next steps from you?
Inform members about the upgrade. Encourage them to uninstall the old My Retirement App and download and install the new Sanlam Portfolio App from Google Play and Apple App store.
